The process took 2 months. I interviewed at MicroStrategy in Dec 2009
Interview
This is a very technically driven company, as opposed to sales focused. Decisions are made in Virginia and the field has little power to make important decisions about how to structure transactions. There appears to be little strategy beyond promoting the latest version of the software as having better features and ease of use. This is a very weak strategy for a company that is not growing it's customer base. It takes more than just a slightly better interface to displace competitors and force a decision on hundreds of thousands of dollars in CapEx.
I applied online. I interviewed at MicroStrategy (Atlanta, GA) in July 2023
Interview
I received an email requesting an interview 2 to 3 days after applying online for this role which I was happy with. I had a 20 minute call with the Technical Recruiter, Jenny Wan. The call went fabulous and she explained what the hiring process was like and even ended the call with "I am absolutely certain that the Hiring Manager is going to want to speak with you right away." I have an impeccable resume and have a tremendous network here in the Atlanta area. I was excited to hear back from them but I never got anything - not from the recruiter, not from the hiring manager. I even emailed 2 times inquiring and I was totally ghosted; yet this job req is still open.

Long interview process then you take a personality and analytics tests. The latter is difficult so be ready to know your analytics when applying and the test is timed as well.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at MicroStrategy
Interview
It was a wonderful experience interviewing with Microstrategy and the overall process. There were multiples rounds and with every round the HR would let you know about the next steps and progress.
