      Order Processor/Data Entry Interview

      16 July 2014
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Los Angeles, CA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Midori Ribbon (Los Angeles, CA) in July 2014

      Interview

Initial communication was established by the company within a week of submitting application via Craigslist advertisement. A representative of the company called and asked if I was still looking for work and from there, set up an interview for two days from the initial call. Arrived at the office a few minutes behind schedule. Tried to call the number that called me but it was their standard customer care line. Apologized profusely however found out that the previous interviewee was still being interviewed. About 5 minutes later the previous interviewee exited and the customer care representative/admin escorted me to the interview room and told me to wait so that they could retrieve the owners. I spoke with Aya, one of the owners, at length about my experience. She told me that they have three rounds of interviews. The second was to be more technical than the first. She asked me about my most recent job. Also she asked if I was familiar with MS Office Suite. I was asked many times if I had any questions but I did not. When I told her that I did not have anymore questions, she shook my hand and bid me farewell. About two hours later, while I was writing a thank you note, I received an email from the person who first made contact with me. They thanked me for my time but decided to go in a different direction.
