I interviewed with Mike's Auto Body in Lafayette about 6 years ago. I remembered this interview today, it was my only bad experience interviewing for a job. which is why I've decided to write a review. The position was for Administrative Assistant/Front Desk. I interviewed with two people at once. I believe one of them was Mike and the other was his son. The son was very nice and Mike was not. During the interview, Mike said something along the lines of "you're the one who had a typo in their resume, right?" A little thrown back, I said "no, I don't think so. Do you remember where?" He then said he couldn't remember where it was, and even glanced down at my resume to look for it, but he couldn't find it. I was sort of insulted by the comment. I then told him I was taking classes and DVC and planned to get my degree from San Francisco. He then asked how I planned to do that and also work full time. I told him that I would take online classes or night classes. I later found out that I didn't get the job because I wanted to go to school and get my degree. I guess they don't want their front desk personnel to be educated. I dodged a bullet with that guy.
