I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Milestone Electric (Garland, TX) in June 2024
Interview
Interview process was chill and comfortable. The person interviewing me made it clear that they just wanted to get to know me and my passions/goals. The questions were personality-based and they left room for me to ask questions.

Interview
The interview process was extremely thorough with multiple rounds taking place. Had to take a culture test and meet with the VP, director and recruiter on different occasions. Overall great company to work for, like anything else you get out what you put into it.

Interview
I did apply for this position and about a week later I was asked to take a personality assessment if still interested. A few days later I had my initial conversation with their recruiter on a Thursday. All seemed great. Set me up for my second round on Friday. Had my final round that Monday following the weekend. So basically 3 interviews in 3 days. It was a little suspicious to me. They never mentioned it was a backfill until the final round. The final round was onsite. Which is when I asked about benefits and if there was any commission or bonus potential. Nope. That was a surprise to me. Said they would have an answer by the end of that week. Crickets. Emailed and called that Friday, no response. Still not a word a week later. It’s unbelievable. It is part of your job as a recruiter to inform the candidate if there are next steps or not. It’s so unprofessional and inconsiderate of my time. I made up an excuse to get out of work to go out to Garland for my final round. It’s one thing to not reach out with an answer. But to blatantly ignore a phone call and email? It’s so sad to say that Milestone isn’t the only business ghosting candidates. They are so big on “culture”. Just look at the reviews here. You’ll see why. I guess ghosting candidates is part of their recruiting/HR culture alongside the holy roller and conservative toxic environment. WWJD? Would Jesus ghost someone after interviewing several times?
