I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Milwaukee Tool (Brookfield, WI) in July 2018
Interview
Initial phone screen with a manager, and then brought in for a half day slew of interviews. Interviewed with 4 different managers and the recruiter, all one on one. Had a quick walk through of the facility as well. Great group of passionate people, I am sure this is a good place to work, and the culture is great for personal career development. They are growing year over year as well, which should translate to competitive salary.

Interview
Interview process was one of the best I’ve seen in my 25+ years in blue/white collar industries. No multi-round interviews…no excessive phone screens or follow-up emails. All it took was one massive panel interview with all stake holders allowing your first impression to be your best impression for the team to make a decision. Other companies should research doing the same depending on the role.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Milwaukee Tool in June 2023
Interview
Series of interviews starting with the HR rep, then typically 3-4 follow up interviews with the hiring manager and other peers/coworkers that you will be working with. In person or virtual

Question 1
Give an example of a time that you failed and what did you do to learn from it
Straight forward questionnaire towards the position. Interviewer was very nice. The position detail was relatively accurate and nothing was a surprise during the interview. The process involved a phone interview, followed by a manager interview.
