With over 18 years of professional experience, this was one of the more disappointing interviews Iāve attended.
From the outset, the interviewer appeared to have already formed a negative opinion about my candidature, which made the interaction feel one-sided. The discussion was narrowly focused on my experience with just one organization, rather than taking a holistic view of my overall background, achievements, and the value I could bring.
One concerning point mentioned during the discussion was around efforts to improve the companyās Glassdoor rating by mandating daily office attendance. If that reflects the broader leadership approach, it raises questions about the work culture.
I would advise future candidates to seek clarity on expectations and team culture during the interview process.
