After going to an event and hearing about their location-agnostic policy, I decided to apply for the position at MindBody. There was some confusion about where the company was located and where I was allowed to work from. I applied for a front-end role and went through a lengthy interview process, where I submitted a form saying that I was unwilling to relocate. After many interviews, adding up to well over four hours, they announced I would need to relocate. I was a bit disappointed as I'd become excited to work for a great company. A month and a half later, I was called for another interview in Austin,TX. Unfortunately, I did have to go through the long interview process all over again, including the code test. That said, I loved the team and the questions they asked me demonstrated that it was a good fit for my needs. The in-person interview was enjoyable, friendly, and seemed to be a good example of how the team worked together.
