Interview
The process was quite quick. They sent me an online challenge with a bunch of multiple choice questions and then a code challenge in the end.
The code challenge itself wasn't difficult, per se, but considering that you need at least 15 minutes to go through all the multiple choice questions, that the challenge description is quite extensive, that you only have 50 minutes to finish the whole thing, and that each time you run the server tests, it takes at least 2 minutes... I don't think the challenge was fair at all, and it tells them more about how candidates deal with pressure than their technical knowledge.
If you preach "humanity", you gotta practice it in a clearer way.
Para uma empresa que se orgulha em ser "humana", a Mindera decepcionou. Primeiro contacto com o RH foi muito bom, funcionária muito simpática. O problema é a segunda fase do recrutamento, onde mandam preencher um quiz online sobre Javascript. O teste consistia em média 15 perguntas (estilo LinkedIn) e depois um code challenge.
O problema todo foi o code challenge. Com apenas 45 minutos eles esperavam um developer entry-level/junior completar um exercício muito difícil para tal tempo. Não vejo como eles medem a capacidade dos candidatos com estas provas cronometradas. Sugiro abraçarem mais o lado "humano" que tanto se orgulham e falam no manifesto da empresa, que ao menos mandem code challenges sem ser cronometrado/projetos mais condizentes com tal posição que estão ofertando.
