I applied on Minnesota’s state jobs website and got an email a week or so later asking when I’m available. We scheduled the interview for 1 or 2 weeks later. They said to plan for an hour although they rarely took the whole time. I think it ended up being around a half hour or so. The interview was done with multiple people. They introduced themselves and then asked me to introduce myself. They had a PowerPoint presentation with the interview questions on them so I could read them (the wording of the questions was long). The questions were mostly focused on how I would explain technical concepts to non-technical people and how I would work in a team. I thought I did okay. Overall, the interviewers were friendly. At the end, they said that they would wrap up interviews with the other candidates over the next week and then make a decision. They said each of my answers were given a score and that they would compare the total scores of the candidates. They ended up getting back to me slightly less than a month later.
