This was by FAR the most time consuming work I’ve ever had to put into an application just to get to an interview. FIRST STEP: 30 + scenario oriented questions. SECOND STEP (7 tasks included): 1) Create a video that addressed how a given scenario would be handled and why; 2) Create a slideshow addressing several specified questions; 3) Create a web page to match the brand’s design; 4) Embed the video and slideshow; 5) create a webpage in the brand's design image; 6) Embed the video and presentation on the web page; 7) Submit references (which I had to gather and request permission from). THIRD STEP (3 parts): 1) IQ test 2) Personality test 3) Work style and leadership assessment. FOURTH STEP: You FINALLY get a chance to speak with someone and are “awarded” an interview. BOTTOM LINE: This company takes itself WAY too seriously and asks candidates to jump through far too many time consuming hoops just to get to the interview stage, since interviews are an opportunity for BOTH parties to see if there's an alignment and for the candidate to also see if it's the right fit. Being asked to do all this work up front before you even get a chance to speak to someone is, in my opinion, unfair and a colossal waste of time and effort. For other job seekers, I'd suggest your time can be better spent pursuing other opportunities.
