Mishcon de Reya Trainee Solicitor interview questions

I first undertook a video interview which included simple questions such as 'Why Mishcon De Reya?' and 'Why Law?' It also asked me about my passions outside of law. You have 90 seconds to answer. The next interview was a case study interview, you were given a financial statement about a failing business and asked to give a 10 minute presentation on it (with 10 mins prep time) and then speak to an Associate about it for 10 minutes. Final stage interview was with two partners of the firm. The interview felt slightly hostile, as one of the partners was clearly disinterested and took a combative approach with all of my answers. We spent most of the time debating the topic I wrote about in my application under the question 'what would you most like to speak about at an interview?'
