I applied online. I interviewed at Mitutoyo (Jundiaí, São Paulo) in June 2023
Interview
Processo longo, passado por 3 fases. As primeiras com o RH e a última com a gerente de marketing, exigem várias aptidões para um cargo de analista que muitas vezes é de um designer.

Interview
1 hour interview with the Hiring Manager and the HR together.
Interviewed online in Germany.
The interview consisted of rapid fire questions, detailed behavioral questions, etc.
Made it to the next stage of the case study and was strangely asked to submit the task in one day.
No response two weeks after.
No answer to the follow up email.
Extremely unprofessional when it came to informing applicants about their application. Would not recommend.

Interview
I am quite disappointed with the entire interview process. I had a first interview mid November 2021with the hiring manager and another person from another department. During that interview I asked about the interview process and they mentioned that the next step would be a design task and after that they would select 2 candidates to meet in person.
So I was also invited to complete the design task, and I was given two hours. Finally, I received an email that they wanted to meet me in person. Due to end of the year activities of the company, we arranged to meet in person at Mitutoyo's HQ in Germany at the end of January 2022 and they offered to cover my travel expenses (I live in France).
So at the end of January I traveled from France to Germany for this final meeting. During the meeting (again the same two people from the first interview and also another person from HR) they mentioned that they had invited 4 candidates for this final round. They told me that I would receive their feedback by the end of next week.
Two weeks passed and no email from them. I sent them two follow-up emails (all participants from the interview were included), but I got no response. Then I tried to call the hiring manager multiple times and when I was able to speak with him, he told me that I should have received their feedback two weeks ago, that he was on vacation and that there were also other candidates asking for feedback (I don't know why I should be bothered with all these excuses). He told me that this was something that should be handled by HR and he was only arranging the interviews (funny thing is that all the communication/emails/invitations for interviews for the entire process were sent by him - I never got an email from anyone else). Almost 3 weeks after that call, still no feedback.
The only good thing is that they paid for the travel expenses (of course I wasted a day traveling to their offices). If I had paid for the travel, then my reaction would be quite different.
By far the worst experience I had during an interview process. For a Japanese company, this is not the way to treat candidates.
