Mobiversa Engineering Manager interview questions

Initially they interviewed me for Delivery Manager role(Contract). After the first round, they asked me to go for one more round for Engineering Manager role(Permanent). Once I cleared all 4 levels, all of a sudden their priority changed and asked me if I can be a Tech Consultant(Contract) or Engineering Manager(Permanent). After the discussion, there is no update from the HR team or Hiring Manager. I had to keep calling them on a daily basis to know the status. I called them back after 10 days and they said that I had to decide on which role to take. I wanted to go for a permanent position and conveyed the same. They told their priority has changed and going only for contract positions(3 to 6 months). I declined the offer. Though their interview rounds were professional, I have never seen a company with such a priority change within a week after interview. Not sure if all the folks in the interview panel(Including CTO and CEO) know their current priority. Good that I didn't join such a volatile company which doesn't have any clue on what is their current priority.
