Mojang interview questions

In short, very corporate, impersonal and time-consuming. After applying, I received an email after a few days, asking why I applied, about my experience and when I'm available to start. It gave the feeling that they hadn't read my cover letter and that it was a mass email. After that it took 2 weeks to set an interview date: Interview was great and interesting and at the end they mentioned that the next steps would be a work test and then a second interview and that the recruiter would contact me about this. I did not hear from the recruiter but had to reach out several times when they said "the team is preparing the test". It took 5 weeks before I received another mass email that they had found someone for the role (that was already known to the company). With only one interview and barely any communication in 2 months I felt like they were wasting my time. The whole process felt impersonal and poorly prepared. I did not receive any feedback on my skillset nor how I did in the interview.

Great process although a bit long. There were a lot of interviews but this gave me the impression Mojang was definitely being thorough in finding the best match. Communication was always super clear and fast and I was kept in the loop really well about when and what the next interview would entail. Really impressed with the process.
