      Executive Recruiter Interview

      12 July 2013
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Mondo (New York, NY) in July 2013

      Interview

The blind leading the blind. In my opinion they will be out of business within a few years because the social media hype is all smoke and mirrors. When something appeears to be too good to be true it usualy is and the company has gone overboard to create a social media buzz. The problem is that they hire pretty faces (There can;t be more than one male per 10 females form my inside look. Nothing wrong with that but it's the blind leading the blind. The depth of knowledge can't be more than 5 years out of school. It is absolutly unreal how green the staff is. Lots of spewing of keywords and bs but no substance. I'd give tem two to three years before the company folds in a massive coronary fueled by hubris and ignorance. Just hope that they don't owe you anything when it falls into bankruptcy. I had an appoinment with the CEO which was late by an hour and then delegated the meeting to incompetent greenhorns. If yo are senior this company would drive you insane. Threy do not have a clue what they are doing but they (apparently)are succeeding despite themselves. Bottom line is that I've seen flash in the pans like this before and they all end up badly. The usual first sign is when a company chages theri name like Mondo jsut did. Used to be Bluewolf.
