I applied online. I interviewed at MoneyMax.ph (Manila, Manila) in Feb 2026
Interview
I was clear from the start that my background was in eCommerce and business development, not fintech, but I was still moved through a long process that included a case study and panel presentation. During the presentation, the discussion shifted heavily into fintech-specific operational details that did not seem aligned with what had been screened initially. After spending significant time preparing, the most disappointing part was the lack of closure. HR later reached out saying the panel was impressed and asked if I was still interested, but after that, there was no update for weeks. The process felt misaligned, time-consuming, and disrespectful of the candidate’s effort.

Question 1
I was asked to complete four case studies and prepare a presentation, which I did thoroughly and correctly. However, during the interview, the panel shifted away from the case studies and focused instead on fintech-specific issues that were not the main scope of what I had prepared for.
