I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at MongoDB (Sydney) in July 2021
Interview
3 rounds of interviews, all online due to covid. First interview was a 30 minute online call, asking standard behavioural questions (e.g. why do you want to work at MongoDB) and talking about my resume.
Second round was a 1 hour techincal interview with an engineer, where they asked a bit about my programming knowledge and I had to solve 2 questions. This interview was easy but also quite average since the interviewer wasn't very social, so the mood was very awkward.
Last round was a combination of technical and management interviews. Technical was easy and the interviewer was great, but the management interview wasn't the most comfortable and I struggled since I didn't thoroughly prepare for it.
