Had a single interview round with a Director of Product Design at MongoDB based in the US. Had to walkthrough one of my case studies with multiple follow-up and behavioural questions.

How would you go about designing for a complex technical product when you have little to no domain knowledge.
Lengthy Interview:
- HR Round (phone call)
- 2 video interviews
- 6.5 hours long onsite interview which includes a design challenge also
They ask for portfolio review at each stage

Interview
The process has three rounds: recruiter screening call, portfolio review, and design team interview/hiring manager call. The entire process took about 3 weeks.
Recruiter has been very helpful in answering all my questions and preparing me for the interviews. The people I've met were super nice and knowledgable! Really convinced that this would be a great internship and can learn lots! I would highly recommend everyone to apply!

Also many specific design behavioral questions for the last team interview, like describe a time when you had a disagreement with a non-designer on your team.
