I was ghosted by MongoDB after completing 6 rounds of interviews with the company. It has been over a month since my final interview and the only response I have gotten was "We should have an answer for you soon" from the Recruiting Coordinator. For a company that prides itself on how "insanely fast-paced" they are, I'm not terribly impressed. The interviews themselves were pleasant and, except for the final stage, the Recruiting Coordinator kept me updated throughout the entire process. Ghosting is not a good look for a company, particularly for a candidate that made it through 6 rounds of interviews. If there is a delay in the process, please communicate that to the candidates. Don't just leave people hanging after all the time, energy, and effort they spent preparing for interviews.
