I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at MongoDB (London, England) in Aug 2024
Interview
Extreme “Wolf of Wall Street” vibes -
Interviewer’s opening question asked what is my race (definitely illegal to do so) then spent the majority of what meant to be a 30min screening talking about topics relating to it.
Shared no valuable information about the role, kept pushing the same questions back to me, took calls during the interview, etc.
Went over time by 40mins; real shortage of efficiency, professionalism, and respect.
I rescinded my candidacy.
Process is 7 steps. It is very challenging and time intensive but very rewarding when you get accepted. The communication throughout was very professional and I knew what each step had in store for me.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at MongoDB

I applied online. I interviewed at MongoDB (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2026
Interview
Went through 6 differen't interviews and then spent 30 hours on the challenge, only to not get the offer on a technicality. In my opinion the process isn't best structured to get the right people.
