I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at MongoDB in Dec 2024
Interview
The interview process at MongoDB included five stages: HR, hiring manager, director, technical interview, and a final challenge with five team representatives.
It was a great experience, mainly due to clear communication from the hiring manager, who kept me informed about the next steps and expectations. The interviewers were welcoming, and the process was both challenging and well structured. I appreciated how thorough the selection was it made me even more excited about joining.
Now, a week into the job, I’ve met amazing people, and it’s great to know future teammates will go through the same thoughtful process.

The environment and technical challenges were different than my current job role in positive ways. I do not believe I hit the right skills in key areas to advance in the process to the final interview and offer phase.
