I was approached by MongoDB for a role and initially excited by the opportunity. The interview process involved several rounds, and I invested a lot of time and effort preparing for each stage. However, after what seemed like positive progress, I was abruptly ghosted. The recruiter I had been working with stopped responding to my emails, and I never received any closure or feedback. It was a frustrating experience, especially given the time commitment and energy involved. I expected a company of MongoDB’s stature to uphold more professional and respectful candidate communication, even if the outcome wasn’t in my favour.

Very complicated and tedious. I went through a minimum of 12 rounds with various tasks, tests, builds, presentations and met at least 8 people. I was also told I was over qualifies, under qualifies and handed to multiple hiring manager who did not know what was going on. After 12 rounds and nearly 2.5 months, I was told I did not get the job because I was very under qualified.
