      Question 1

How would you validate a dataset before using it for analysis? Tests your understanding of data quality, missing values, outliers, and consistency. “Can you describe a time when your analysis changed a business decision?” Reveals storytelling, impact, and stakeholder communication. “How do you choose the right metrics for a business problem?” Evaluates whether the candidate understands KPIs vs vanity metrics and business context. “What’s the difference between correlation and causation, and why does it matter?” Checks statistical reasoning and critical thinking. “Given a large, messy dataset, how would you find the most important insights?” Looks at problem-solving, prioritization, and exploratory data analysis skills.
