      Human Resources Consultant Interview

      8 June 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Moody's (London, England) in Apr 2015

      Interview

I attended four interviews - with the intended line-manager for the role, HR Director and key colleagues in the US and UK. After the first interview, my recruitment agent was told that I was the only candidate they were putting forward to the next stage. (My agent is not in the habit of saying this) After the interview, my agent was told that I would hear back, probably with an offer, by the following day. We didn’t, despite chasing up. Nine days later, my agent informed me they were talking to a late applicant. I can understand an organisation feeling the need to consider a late applicant, in order to ensure they get the best possible candidate. However the complete lack of communication with me was completely unprofessional and undermined the employer brand they actively promoted.
