I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Moody's (New York, NY) in Apr 2011
Interview
two stages of phone interviews; full day of in-person interviews with six managers; follow-up phone interview with hiring manager. process took some time; there was a gap of several weeks leading up to the in-person interviews, during which they brought in 5-6 candidates for the same position to conduct round-robin interviews. they put candidates in an empty office, then the interviewers rotated through.

Question 1
Technical questions about process, Why I would like to join Moody's
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Moody's (New York, NY) in Mar 2018
Interview
This was for Financial Systems team in Moody's Shared Services
First Step: HR called and asked my availability for the next day to set up the phone interview with the hiring manager.
Second Step: Had phone interview with hiring manager- He asked about general resume questions and some simple behavioral questions but was interrupting a lot when I was answering. Was a complete bully and was not ready to listen and did not even let me complete one answer properly. Complete lack of respect for the candidate. He called me late by 5 mins and said I only have 25 mins so let's make it fast.
Followed up with HR 3-4 times who gave me vague reasons that hiring manager is traveling, I'm taking a flight can I call you tomorrow.
Finally called him again and he said "Oh sorry, I thought we connected earlier". He had no idea what was going on with the process.
Such unprofessionalism is not expected from Moody's. I'm happy to not go ahead with the process considering how the hiring manager treats candidates in the interview.
