I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Moody's (New York, NY) in Dec 2023
Interview
First round about your resume and some simple finance-related technical questions such as linking the three statements. Followed by super day which is split into 30-min behavioral and 30-min technical interview. Unfortunately, they are pretty slow/inefficient with the whole process. It took nearly 2 months of my time between my first interview and my rejection despite acing all the technicals, and I dont think I would have even heard back from them if it wasn't for me following up.

Question 1
How does buying a $100 asset with debt affect the three statements?
Case study followed by first round of interviews with the hiring manager and a senior ratings associate. Followed by a second round with the associate managing director and a lead analyst
HR screening first (20 min total, rather brief, standard HR screen) then some interviews with people from the ratings team. Both were online. The second interview was two thirty minute rounds.

Question 1
Typical behavioral, some questions on credit ratings.
Case study with financial analysis and credit write-up to be completed in 3 hours, followed by a face-to-face interview with the head to assess personality, fit, and background. It was a pleasant interview, nothing too crazy.
