She sat me down one-on-one outside the store and wanted to know a little about myself. We spoke for about 30 minutes about my background and my career path, and she sent me on my way. I then waited for an email response for about a week or so, then she told me I didn't get the role based on "experience", when in reality an employee's friend applied, who had no experience within the wellness/healthy living field, but they chose her over me.
