I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Moose Toys (El Segundo, CA) in Feb 2025
Interview
After an initial phone screen with HR I came into the El Segundo office to meet with the GM. The HR manager followed up two days later to let me know she’d be in touch the following week. I never heard from her so two weeks later I sent an email expressing my interest in the position. She replied and said they are still excited about my potential for the role and would be making a decision after toy fair. I never heard back from them until over a month later when the HR manager emailed me to set up a meeting to discuss the role. When I met with her she was calling to tell me I didn’t get the role. After ghosting me for over a month they have the nerve to waste my time to tell me I didn’t get the role when an email would have sufficed. Very unprofessional group of people.
They called to schedule an interview. They asked a few basic questions including salary expectations, working rights, why do you want to work with us, whether can you work full time and etc. Still waiting for a follow-up.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Moose Toys (Newquay, England)
Interview
Was approached by their internal HR and asked to apply and that my CV was sitting with the hiring manager. Then heard nothing back, I followed up and was eventually told that they received applications from individuals with more relevant experience. Why directly approach someone to deny them an interview?
I then applied for a management accountant role via a recruiter and was told they know of me but no further reason why my CV, yet again, won't be considered.
