Director of SEO & SEM Interview

      8 Aug 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Morilee (New York, NY) in July 2019

      Interview

In-person with the CEO Terri Eagle. The interview went well, however, the CEO wasn't as friendly as she could have been. She was a bit intimidating and felt sort of judgemental, which made it a bit awkward at times. I am a super friendly and enthusiastic person, which I don't think matched Terri's personality. I think she sensed my nerves in the interview, which stemmed from me trying to impress her as much as possible because I wanted the job. I wasn't comfortable with her in the interview. She didn't seem to engaged, so I guess I took it personally more than assuming she's busy at work or it's just her personality. She seemed like a very lovely woman, but ultimately the interview just didn't jell well, unfortunately. However, I am sure she's a great CEO and others might interview better with her than I did.
