I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Morningstar (Navi Mumbai) in Oct 2020
Interview
Overall it was a lengthy process of 5-6 weeks. Involving 7 rounds of discussions. Extremely tiring and equally unhealthy.
I was told that there would be 3-4 rounds. They took 7 rounds. Yes!!! They do not have any standardised process. Their HR's are highly unprofessional. They had discussions set up with 3 different directors. One of the tech director who reported to CTO didn't when know what code review process is(a part of pipeline). After 7 rounds of discussion Morningstar HR said she's trying to take approvals for my salary and will release the offer letter soon. After a week she stopped replying to call and went unresponsive. Next week when I called consultancy they told me that they haven't got salary approval. My salary expectations were sent before even the first round was scheduled it was crystal clear and how can this happen?? If Morningstar didn't had budget why did they take interview of the guy from global tech product company who was expecting more than your budget?? I ended up rejecting two offers(from other companies) in the entire process as till the last day I was assured that I will be offered something inline to my expectations. Morningstar is for TCS Infy guys who are paid lower than overall market. For people coming from good product comapnies, please don't waste your time with unethical and fraudster HR's of this company
