I was an internal referral and after weeks a recruiter (A.T.) finally reached out (my friend had to send a reminder to hr). She called me 8 minutes late, it was clear she didn't prepare as all her questions could be easily answered from having a quick look at my resume, was not able to answer any of my general job related questions and she even didn't know that I was an internal referral from a director. She was even super rude and seems to be in a hurry to get out of the office (Nashville, TN). After 11 minutes, I ended the call and told her I'm not interested in carryon with the interview ...
I live in Silicon Valley, competition of companies is pretty high, KeepTruckin is not in the most sexiest business and is praising on how awesome their company culture is ... Really? Having those immature team members out there at your forefront? I always treat recruiting with respect - I see recruiting as a brand experience as people who apply at your company could always be your future customer or business partner - so be polite.
