Interview was preceded by long introduction/presentation about the department, current projects and company structure. Interview was competency based with two senior engineers (one via video link). Was made to feel very relaxed and didn't feel like any questions were designed to catch you out. Was introduced to the department and saw projects they were currently working on.

After completing initial application and passing the situational judgement test, I was invited to a 90 minute online teams interview. Three members of staff joined the call and asked me a series of prescribed questions they weren’t able to deviate from. First part was asking about my motivations and some situational questions, and was followed up by a written exercise where I was given 20 minutes to write an email response to a client request, and finished with three simple verbal technical questions
