Mountbatten Program Internship interview questions

Invited to London for an interview where they brief you on the interview process and the whole experience. The interview itself was an hour long and included a review of your CV and personal statement and questions about your suitability for the programme, how you would fund it and what your plan is if you do not get the programme. The interview itself seemed to go well for me however, I had insufficient work experience to proceed to the next stage. I felt the interview gave me false hope as they discussed the next stage of the process and how I could improve my CV and personal statement for this. I was very disappointed at the time that I didn't get onto the programme.
