The interview was conducted over Zoom and first I met with the head of HR to get a brief job description and go over the benefits and pay structure. After that I met with two directors in the install department and got more of the day to day and training process. They were open to questions as well.

Red flags.
HR employee was disorganized, showed up late, and provided misleading information.
First round phone interview with HR was standard and we immediately scheduled the second interview, which I was told would be 1:1 with the hiring manager. Oddly it was a panel with a Director and two others. The general vibe from them was one of micromanagement. The role involved high volume for insultingly low pay. Good benefits apparently.
Interview questions were not out of the ordinary, but numerous and meticulous for something like an entry-level position with entry-level pay.
They required a writing sample which I received no feedback on.
Received a copy-and-paste rejection email within a week of interviewing.
