First had a phone interview with HR, followed by a second interview in person with a member of staff / organization leadership. Both interviews were warm and friendly, with smart questions and thoughtful conversations. First interview scheduled one month after applying. Second interview scheduled one month after the first... Then nothing. No job offer, no decline, no communication of any sort at all. Turned a positive experience in which I felt valued as a candidate into a negative one in which they didn't deem me deserving of a final answer.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Ms. Foundation for Women (New York, NY) in July 2016
Interview
I had a pleasant and friendly phone interview. This was the first interview with HR. It was a friendly and comfortable conversation. They were interested in learning about the general career path I've taken, particularly trying to understand the reasons for leaving certain organizations and for joining the next. I believe I didn't receive a follow-up interview request because my salary requirement was too high.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Ms. Foundation for Women (Brooklyn, NY) in Nov 2009
Interview
Everyone I met was a joy to speak with but the time between interviews/phone calls was painfully slow. At one point the HR manager even called to tell me that they were going to offer me a job - but not until next week! The group interview was also an intimidating process as I met with 8 or 10 people at once, but in the end it was a good experience for me.
