I felt significantly misled during this interview process. The job description I was given in advance clearly stated that the role was remote, aside from client visits, and included a different pay range than what was later discussed. During the interview, recruiter informed me the position would actually be onsite but said she would check if a hybrid arrangement might be possible. When I pointed out the discrepancy with the job posting, she backtracked and claimed the description was merely meant to give a general idea of the role. Additionally, she asked if I’d be open to taking on recruiting responsibilities alongside account management (something that was not mentioned in the original posting). Overall, there were too many inconsistencies and red flags for me to feel comfortable moving forward.
