I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory
Interview
Applied through JPL's internship portal (There are two! One is a general submission, the other is for specific positions - many people do not know this!). I was contact by a section supervisor and had a short (~30 minute) phone interview. I was contacted under a week later and offered a position for the summer.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (Pasadena, CA) in June 2008
Interview
I was referred to this job position by one of my professors at my school. He provided the contact information of his supervisor who I sent my resume to. I went in for the interview and has a talk with two different individuals. The first person explained how the benefits work, and the second person asked some basic technical questions along with some questions about my experience and my interest.
