I applied through university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory
Interview
I was interviewed on campus. This was my first real interview so I wasn't prepared for all the behavioral questions. I thought they would ask me more questions about my projects and resume but that only came up as a consequence of the behavioral questions. It took 3 months after the interview for me to get an email from the recruiter saying that they would not be moving forward with my application(kind of already knew since other people I know had gotten offers). I was told I would get a call within one month to let me know either way.

I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (Los Angeles, CA) in Nov 2015
Interview
Got an on campus interview after applying online. Most of the questions were related to my resume and work that I had done. The questions were slightly more technical in nature than those asked in interviews with other companies. Received a call for an on-lab interview about a week later. Haven't had the on-lab interview yet, but I'm hoping it works out.
