I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at NAVEX (Lake Oswego, OR) in May 2013
Interview
Simple and straight forward. Talked about very basic software patterns and some very basic JavaScript questions. Talked about the culture and workplace as well as their product offerings. Toured the building and was let go on my way. Took about an hour in total.
I recently had a scheduled introductory phone call with a recruiter, and it was the worst experience I've ever had in an interview process. I missed the initial call by a moment and immediately called back, only to receive an instant decline message. This level of rudeness and lack of professionalism is unacceptable. It left me feeling frustrated and disrespected. I strongly urge the company to improve their communication and treatment of candidates, as this experience reflects very poorly on their hiring practices.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at NAVEX (Charlotte, NC) in Feb 2024

Interview
Phone screen with recruiter. Then a session with the hiring manager, followed by two technical sessions. One backend panel, one frontend QA panel. Technical questions were good and inline with job expectations. Great conversation getting to know potential future teammates and leads.
