The HR Talent Manager is outstanding! Very skilled at interviewing and had a good understanding of what was required for the role. She had a wonderful and positive energy, but still asked tough questions and was very professional. It was just a phone interview for the meeting with her. I've interviewed many people as a leader and always keep in mind that the candidates are also interviewing me and the company I represent. This means they are evaluating my energy and body language from the start to determine if they would be joining a team with a good, open and positive culture or something else. The culture of a company is heavily weighted for most of us these days. I had a video interview with a panel of 2 after that and felt a decrease in that positive vibe, but we got off to a late start due to technical issues so that may have played into it.
