I applied online via the NBCUniversal Careers website at the very end of December and received an e-mail at the end of February inviting me to conduct a video interview. I have not yet received a response (been almost three weeks after the video interview), but so far overall the application process has been okay. Though the suspense of hearing back isn't fun, it is understandable for a company the size of NBCUniversal to take longer to follow up. I will update this post upon further correspondence with the company. Best advice for the video interview (which is one-sided, so you are given a question and must then video record your answer) is to PRACTICE multiple times. It is uncomfortable speaking to a screen, but if you practice enough times you will get used to it and by the time you are recording your actual answers it will look much more natural. This will enable you to better focus on the quality and merit of your answers. Good luck!
