A screening call with HR, a call with two persons from the team, a writing exercise, and a final call with HR. The questions were upfront and everything was done remotely (this was before COVID). The process was simple and straight forward.
I applied online. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (New York, NY) in Dec 2020
Interview
At first, the interview process was great. The recruiter was super helpful and communicative. After a long, 2-month process (three interviews, an edit test, references), all seemed to go well until the final step. They informed me that the position was taken down, which I understand happens sometimes, but I wish I was told earlier in the process. But then, I saw that the exact job was posted a few days later. While I appreciated how positive the application process was, I'm disappointed that they seemingly lied about what happened with the position and that they didn't realize earlier on that I wasn't the right fit.
