The interview process was simple overall, with a take-home assignment followed by a technical interview. However, the technical interview raised some concerns. I felt like I was in a competition rather than a collaborative environment. Many of the questions were asked in a condescending manner, as if the interviewer was trying to show off their superior knowledge. There was no focus on my competencies or behavior, and the interviewer seemed more interested in testing my technical expertise and whether I had memorized certain information.
