I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at NIP Group (Woodbridge, NJ) in Mar 2026
Interview
The interview process was extremely smooth. Straight to the point, no fluff, just facts and very thorough on what the job entails and what is needed for the right person in this position. Loved the transparency from start to finish. This is a solid company. I love everything about them so far and I haven't even started with them yet. I cannot wait to update this in the near future.

Question 1
Many good questions but one in particular was how do you deal with a difficult situation or customer?
I had 2 interviews (both behavioral) and a personality assessment. The first interview was a great experience and very conversational. The second felt more like the interviewer was going off a script. This was the final round interview and I waited to hear back for weeks and never heard anything. If you are going to take a candidate to the final round, you should at least send them an email and let them know they were not selected.

How do you feel about working in a remote environment?
I applied online. I interviewed at NIP Group in July 2025
Interview
I applied for this position two months ago and was recently contacted to confirm my continued interest. After scheduling a virtual meeting, the recruiter initially missed it but later rescheduled and indicated I was a good fit, mentioning there were still two underwriting positions open. Shortly afterward, I was told the roles had already been filled. I’m confused as to why I was asked about my interest if candidates had already been chosen.
