I'm unsure where to start. After multiple rounds and a trip to a distant NJ office, I received a verbal offer and was told to accept before a written one was issued. They refused to negotiate, and when I asked about flexibility on in-office hours due to childcare, the offer was rescinded for simply asking. This shady, all-verbal process feels nearly illegal, and I was surprised a government org would do this.
Interview was a short 30 minute video interview with the hiring manager and then an onsite interview with a panel of team members for an hour. After the onsite a verbal offer was extended
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at NJEDA (Newark, NJ) in Oct 2024
Interview
Long and no follow up after the interview. This was very frustrating. I had to keep emailing HR. I was getting very upset at this. I was not a fan of their process.
