I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at NRA (Fairfax, VA) in July 2010
Interview
My interview process was completed over the phone because I lived so far from the headquarters. But I also had a good reference from within the organization and plenty of other good references for them to check up on. Overall I think their hiring process was thorough and fair. I'd highly recommend working for NRA

Question 1
Can you handle working for candidates of either party
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NRA in Jan 2016
Interview
Two phone interviews after long application process, one in person interview, HR interview, and hired by HR. Experience is the most important aspect of the interview, you will have to have a lot of knowledge of how to run grassroots campaign before the job starts. Knowledge and like mindedness about the 2nd amendment is important, but the NRA will help further your knowledge, you don't have to be an expert.

Question 1
A lot about experience, 2nd amendment topics, and if you are ready to meet job requirements.
Submitted required materials and then asked to schedule a phone interview because I wasn't near NRA HQ. Following the phone interview, I received notice that they will be checking references before hiring.

Question 1
The NRA is not politically affiliated. Do you think it would be an issue if you were assigned a candidate of another party id and expected to campaign for them?
