I recently attended an interview process for a front-end developer position.
The first round consisted of JavaScript and React questions, including both theoretical concepts and practical coding tasks. I was able to answer all the questions confidently and successfully complete the coding challenges.
The second round was conducted by the team lead. This round was more in-depth and focused on JavaScript and React problem-solving. I performed well, answered all technical and theoretical questions, and completed the coding tasks as expected.
However, after three days, HR informed me that I was rejected because I did not have experience with TypeScript. This was surprising, as TypeScript was not mentioned as a mandatory requirement in the job description.
