I applied through university. I interviewed at NXP Semiconductors
Interview
1st stage was a test based on electronics
2nd stage was an interview with senior electronics engineers
last was an HR round
Of all the rounds HR was the smallest.
I think the senior engineers had most say, and then HR just said no if you gave some major red flags
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Lot of digital electronics based questions like flip flops, timers, counters and the like
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at NXP Semiconductors in July 2024
Interview
The first-round interview focused on digital design fundamentals, including Verilog coding, basic timing concepts, and finite state machines. The interviewer was professional and gave helpful hints when I got stuck. Leant a lot from that
I applied through university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at NXP Semiconductors (Bengaluru) in Sept 2020
Interview
There were two rounds, one technical interview and one hr interview. Technical interview lasted for about an hour. Questions on the projects I have done, basics of digital design and microprocessors were asked. Also some basic puzzles were asked.
