After an initial phone interview I was summoned to a face to face meeting. The client paid a contribution to my travelling expenses plus 2 nights in a hotel. The interview lasted 3 hours. No coffee was offered. One of the interviewers failed to attend. There was also a comprehension test on some software specifications. I pointed out that the specifications could be considerably simplified. (Maybe this was not the expected answer!).
