I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nascent (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2015
Interview
I applied online directly. Got a call/email from the HR. Got an in-person technical interview with the HR and two developers. There were some technical questions, just for them to know how much I know OOP. So a lot of OOP related questions, not coding just talking through problems is how it went. They were very professional and nice.
A HR call followed by a call about your previous experiences. They called me late several times and then followed up by sending a really take home test. They didn't seem to really view the take home project afterwards saying that they're full. Overall an extremely disrespectful company, really would encourage people to stay away as much as possible.

Question 1
1. Typical HR call about your previous experiences 2. A really big take home test exercise
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Nascent in Sept 2019
Interview
Company reached out to me through a 3rd party website a few weeks ago. Things moved decently fast. Had a phone call with HR and it was a complete waste of time.
It was extremely evident HR did NOT read my resume which is pretty sad considering A) you reached out to me, B) reading is not a difficult thing to do.
Interview felt like someone reading off of a script with generic responses. Person had zero technical knowledge whatsoever, they asked me if I had any experience doing web development using technology X. Despite this clearly being on my resume (which i shared with said person before they asked me this question), again, reading was an impossible task.
I am not going to blame the company or shy anyone away from applying, this is merely to the company to figure your stuff out. Hire competent people who can read, seriously, someone in grade school could have figured most of this stuff out, its pretty sad.
Other than that, company seems to do some cool stuff. I think its worth a shot, provided the company fix its hiring issues.
